Make The Human Shift Laboratory is built on a simple idea: industrial transformation is too complex to be narrated by a single voice. It requires perspectives that come from the field, from leadership challenges, from strategic tensions, and from lived experience across European industry.
This page introduces the people — and the process — behind the work. Not a traditional editorial team. Not anonymous writers. But practitioners who think, question, debate, and build with intention.
Our Collaborative Approach
Every piece published here is the result of a human–AI collaboration. Humans bring experience, context, judgment, and a point of view. AI brings structure, speed, alternative angles, and intellectual friction. Neither works alone.
We do not hide this process. We embrace it. Because the future of work will be built by humans who know how to work with intelligent systems — without giving up their critical thinking or their authorship.
The rule is simple: the ideas remain human. AI enhances, challenges, and sharpens — but never replaces vision, accountability, or perspective.
Founder
Jérémy Dupont
I created this laboratory to explore what transformation really feels like inside European industry — beyond the slogans, beyond the hype, beyond the formulaic frameworks.
My work spans technical engineering, operational leadership, innovation strategy, energy transition, and industrial performance. Across these roles, I’ve seen one constant: technology only works when people make sense of it.
This space is where I examine that tension openly, and where I experiment with what thoughtful human–AI collaboration can produce when substance matters more than speed.
Guest Contributors
From time to time, experienced practitioners — managers, engineers, researchers, strategists — contribute reflections based on their own realities. Each voice brings something different: a challenge they’re wrestling with, a lesson learned the hard way, a critical perspective on industrial transformation.
Guest contributions will be added progressively as the project grows. Every contribution is signed, transparent, and grounded in field experience.
Why Contributions Matter
Transformation is not a solitary effort. It is a conversation — between functions, between sectors, between disciplines, between humans and machines. The more perspectives we gather, the richer and more honest the dialogue becomes.
This laboratory is intentionally porous: open to those who want to think seriously about AI, industry, change, and leadership without falling into hype or simplification.
If you see yourself in this approach, if you want to explore your questions in a human–AI collaborative format, we welcome proposals.
